What Does Materials Recovery Facility Do?

Sorting and Separation
Using an MSW sorting plant to classify the municipal solid waste into different kinds according to their natures, features, raw materials and following processing ways, etc.
Processing flow:
1. The truck unloads the waste materials onto the loading platform and workers pick out the large materials like furniture, wood branches and construction waste.
2. The rest materials will go to the plate feeder, where a spreader is equipped at the end of the feeder to make the materials even and uniform on the conveyor.
3. And then the materials will go to the manual sorting platform and the workers pick out large stones, branches and hazardous waste.
4. The rest will go to the rotatory screening machine. Through the bores with a diameter of 50 mm inside the machine, oversize material (≥50 mm) and undersized materials (≤50 mm) will be separated.
5. The undersized materials are usually organisms. They will go to the suspended magnetic separator and the irony matters will be sorted out. The oversize materials will also go to the magnetic separator and get the irony tins and cans out.
6. After that, the oversized materials will go to the bad breaker and the comprehensive winnowing machine. In the winnowing machine, they will be classified into three main kinds: light plastic, heavy materials (bricks and stones, glasses, etc ) and the rest materials (combustible materials like hard plastic, rubber products, fabrics, and wet paper, etc).
Recycling
Using follow-up materials recycling facility including the waste processing machines like waste pyrolysis machine and charcoal machine. They are used to turn the sorted materials into “treasure”.
